Since before graduating Euclid High School in 2013, I have been certified in Business Administration Technology earning education in business management skills to ensure professionals, businesses, and organizations run effectively, efficiently, and profitably.​ Graduating from Cleveland State University in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Healthcare Management, D. Smith Development Co. uses the earned education to leverage business expertise and professionalism as a whole through management and neurological responses.

October 29, 2021, D. Smith Development Company was created by taking that same knowledge to service businesses and professionals in obtaining education for their personal use in career expansion or for their brand.​
In 2023, D. Smith Development Co. expanded on its mission to not only continue to evolve businesses and professionals through coordinating, coaching, and consulting-- but students as well providing unique tutoring experiences through contracted licensed teaching professionals.

​December 2025, D. Smith Development Co. opened its first brick and mortar co-working space located in Richmond Heights to service the community directly.
